DEPUTY AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE OFFICER (Title 32)

This position serves as the Deputy Aircraft Maintenance Officer at an Air National Guard Aviation Wing, Maintenance Group. The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the full assistant to the Aircraft Maintenance Officer, with responsibility for directing, and managing the Aircraft Maintenance Group. As the deputy, serves as the alter ego to the Aircraft Maintenance Group Commander fully sharing with the Commander the direction of all phases of the organization's program which is to partner with the Wing Commander, as well as the Mission Support Group, and the Operations Group Commanders in planning, scheduling, and implementing an Operationally Risk Managed (ORM) flying program. The scope of work for the position is identified with an authorized work force ranging from 325 to 674 Military Technicians, Traditional Guard members, Active Guard/Reserve (AGR), Non-Dual Status Technicians, state employees and contract personnel. This position requires military membership. It is designated for ANG Officer incumbent only. In accordance with AFMAN 36-2105, the incumbent provides supervision, guidance over subordinates, and team leadership to non-dual status (NDS) and dual status (DS) employees. The incumbent performs long-term planning and organizational development necessary to accomplish aircraft maintenance functions in support of programs essential to ANG daily operations, training and readiness, missions and fosters an environment conducive to teamwork among service providers and customers in meeting ANG requirements. THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION OPEN TO AREAS OF CONSIDERATION (AOC) 1-3 ONLY. PRIORITY WILL BE GIVEN TO AOC 1. AOC DEFINITIONS:
Area 1:
Current permanent employees of the South Carolina Air National Guard. (Note-Temporary and Indefinite employees do not meet permanent tenure requirements and will not qualify for this AOC) Area 2:
Current members of the South Carolina Air National Guard. Area 3:
Any individual eligible for membership in the South Carolina Air National Guard. Min/Max Military Grades:
2d Lt/O-1, 1st Lt/O-2, Capt/O-3, Maj/O-4, Lt Col/O-5 Compatible Military Assignments:
20CO, P20CO, N20CO, 21AX MINIMUM
Experience:
Experience, education, or training which has provided the applicant with a knowledge of equipment maintenance work, or skill in reading engineering drawings and specifications, using test instruments, making computations, and keeping records. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED
Experience:
To be rated qualified for this position your resume must show definitively at least 36months experience in the following- applying principles, concepts, and methods of equipment, facility, or service operations sufficient in planning assignments. Experience using well-established occupational methods and techniques to determine facility, grounds, equipment overhaul, maintenance, restoration, repair needs, etc. Experience in determination of resource needs, allocation of resources, and budgeting/funding needs. Experience in human resources management policy matters affecting the entire organization, with personnel actions affecting key employees to include experience coordinating work forces and resources and negotiating with management or clients concerning problems. Experience in managing the function of the work to be performed. Experience which includes leading, directing and assigning work of personnel. MILITARY REQUIREMENT:
Military skill set is determined by AFSC requirements. Upon selection, individuals must be assigned to a compatible military AFSC in accordance with statutes and National Guard Bureau regulations and must obtain/maintain all requirements of the AFSC.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
