LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT OFFICER (Title 32)

This position is located in an Air National Guard Wing Flying unit and serves as an Aircraft Logistics Officer. The purpose of this position is to plan, schedule, control and direct the use of logistics resources to meet mission requirements. Through subordinate supervisors, directs and supervisee aircraft modification, overhaul, and repair programs that affect highly complex single or multi-engine military aircraft. Work requires the ability to integrate logistics functions to plan, organize, and implement an Air Force logistics program. In addition, work requires a knowledge of logistics management procedures, capabilities, limitations, and techniques of avionics systems; theory of flight; principles of airframe construction, engines, and aircraft installed systems; and supply, transportation, and POL operation procedures as related to aircraft logistics units. THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION OPEN TO AREAS OF CONSIDERATION (AOC) 1-2 ONLY. PRIORITY WILL BE GIVEN TO AOC 1. AOC DEFINITIONS:
Area 1:
Current permanent employees of the South Carolina Air National Guard. (Note-Temporary and Indefinite employees do not meet permanent tenure requirements and will not qualify for this AOC) Area 2:
Current members of the South Carolina Air National Guard. Area 3:
Any individual eligible for membership in the South Carolina Air National Guard. Min/Max Military Grades:
2d Lt/O-1, 1st Lt/O-2, Capt/O-3, Maj/O-4 Compatible Military Assignments:
21AX, 38FX MINIMUM
Experience:
Experience, education or training involving judgment and/or analytical ability in the logistics field. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED
Experience:
To be rated qualified for this position your resume must show definitively at least 36months experience in the following- identifying activities involving logistical support operations. Experience integrating the actions of a variety of specialized support activities in order to develop a comprehensive logistics plan. Experience monitoring such functions as program planning, resource and fiscal management, training, manpower management, and/or automated data processing to meet the logistics plan. Experience identifying delays or problems and developing corrective actions. Experience working with people from various levels and backgrounds to elicit their cooperation to perform specific tasks, and complying with regulations, laws, or practices. MILITARY REQUIREMENTS:
Military skill set is determined by AFSC requirements. Upon selection, individuals must be assigned to a compatible military AFSC in accordance with statutes and National Guard Bureau regulations and must obtain/maintain all requirements of the AFSC.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
