RANGE OPERATIONS SPECIALIST- TITLE 32

This position is located in the Joint Force Headquarters-State, Operations Directorate (J-3), Army National Guard (ARNG) Training Center, Range Operations. The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a Range Operations Specialist with responsibility for coordinating range management programs involving live fire training activities, range safety, range maintenance, and range communications and operations. Oversees and ensures the continued operation of the Range Control Operations and Communications Center. Assumes the duties of the Range Control Officer in the absence of the incumbent. THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION OPEN TO THE FOLLOWING AREA OF CONSIDERATION (AOC):

This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard. Applicants who are not currently a member of the National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership. Upon selection, individuals must be assigned to a compatible military AFSC/MOS in accordance with statutes and National Guard Bureau regulations and must obtain/maintain all requirements of the AFSC/MOS. references listed below, NGB Compatibility tables and your local Personnel section. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Experience, education, or training which provided a general knowledge of principles of organization, management, and administration. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
To qualify for this position your resume must definitively show that you have experience in the following criteria:
Practical knowledge of a wide range of established ARNG range management principles and concepts involving range operations, live fire training activities, range safety, range maintenance, and range control and communications. Knowledge of range activities, functions, and mission to provide support and services to training activities. Knowledge of current military doctrine as related to the training center and range operations to analyze problems and recommend solutions to eliminate problems. Working knowledge of regulations, pamphlets, and instructions regarding policies and procedures for firing and handling ammunition.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
